The 1977 Munchkins certainly reaffirmed the adage "good things come in small packages." Our boys distinguished themselves in all areas of camp life. Furthermore, the Munchkins' accomplishments were acknowledged by all Ranger campers and counselors and the recognition served to spur the Munchies on to even greater heights.

This summer we participated in inter-camp games five times and the Munchkins were victorious on every occasion. Our successes were due to the willingness of our boys to accept the instruction provided by a super counselor staff.

A summer at Ranger includes much more than a comprehensive athletic program. The production of Pinocchio starring the Munchkins was one of the highlights of our summer season. The overnight trips, the hay rides, the horseback riding and water skiing programs all served to make for a well rounded camp experience.

Although the passing months of autumn and winter may cloud our memories of the events of the summer of '77, the friendships that were made will certainly endure. These bonds of togetherness are the essence of life at Ranger.
