DEAR CAMPERS,

IT IS WITH DEEP REGRET THAT I SEE 1966 DRAWING TO A CLOSE. IT HAS BEEN A VERY HAPPY AND HEALTHY SEASON.

I HOPE EVERYONE HAS BEEN ABLE TO PROFIT FROM CAMP THIS SUMMER. I KNOW THAT EACH OF YOU WILL BE A BETTER PERSON FOR HAVING BEEN PART OF A BUNK. IT IS WONDERFUL TO HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR SHARING EXPERIENCES WITH FRIENDS. IT IS MY SINCERE WISH THAT THE WORTHY EXPERIENCES OF CAMP WILL BE CARRIED INTO YOUR LIVES AT HOME. CAMP IS NOT JUST AN EIGHT WEEK SEASON. IT SHOULD BE A TIME WHEN YOU LEARN THINGS THAT YOU DO ALL YEAR ROUND.

NOW THAT WE HAVE HAD OUR LAST FLAG LOWERING AND WE ALL FLOATED OUR CANDLES FOR 1966, I WISH TO THANK THE DIRECTORS, STAFF AND CAMPERS FOR THEIR FINE COOPERATION THIS SUMMER.

BEST WISHES FOR A HAPPY AND HEALTHY WINTER.

IRWIN
